Jennifer Hurst O.D. is a Memphis native. She attended the University of Memphis where she completed her Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering with minors in chemistry and music. In 2025 she graduated with her doctorate of optometry from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN; during her studies she was able to complete a pediatric optometry internship at Duke.
Dr. Hurst now serves the southeast Missouri area providing comprehensive eye care, including glasses and contact lens exams, diabetic eye exams, pediatric eye exams, and monitoring glaucoma and macular degeneration. When she’s not at work, Dr. Hurst enjoys spending time with her husband, visiting her family in Memphis, and reading a good book.
