Dr. George Ortiz graduated from the University of Puerto Rico at San Juan, May 1984 and received a Doctorate Degree in Medicine, June 1984. Dr. Ortiz completed his Internship at Tulane University Affiliated Hospitals, June 1985, and completed his Residency at Tulane University School of Medicine, June 1988. Dr. Ortiz joined
Marion Eye Centers in October 1988. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
