Dr. Lacey Walk
Lacey Walk, O.D. was born and raised in Brownstown, IL, and graduated from Brownstown High School in 2005. She went on to attend Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, and graduated Cum Laude in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in biological sciences and a minor in chemistry. Dr. Walk continued her education at the University of Missouri - St. Louis College of Optometry and received her Doctorate of Optometry in 2013. While in school, she received admission into the Gold Key Optometric Honor Society. She practiced in the metro east St. Louis area for seven years before returning “home” to practice at Marion Eye Center in July of 2020 in the Vandalia, Effingham and Greenville locations. She enjoys practicing all aspects of primary care optometry and particularly enjoys treating dry eye disease.
When she’s not providing patient care she enjoys traveling with her husband Alex Walk, as well as spending time with family, running, hiking, kayaking and reading.
