Dr. Rachel Shewmake

Rachel Shewmake, O.D.
Dr. Shewmake graduated in 1987 from SIUE with a bachelor of science, majoring in pre-med and minoring in chemistry. She participated in research on Gyrate Atrophy. Dr. Shewmake then attended UMSL School of Optometry, graduating in 1991 with her Doctor of Optometry. She completed rotations in various low income clinics, as well as Cochran VA, St. Louis, MO, and Scott Air Force Base. Dr. Shewmake is currently a member of the AOA and MOA, practicing in the Cape Girardeau and Sikeston areas.
